St Andrews
and
Fife
Tour
Crossing the Forth Road
Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife, we travel through the
picturesque fishing villages and harbours, once thriving on the
continental trade, and on to St Andrews, famous for its
ecclesiastical past and for being the hallowed capital of golf.
See the sites, have lunch and explore the ruins. Then we travel
to Falkland, and the 16th century palace, home of Mary Queen of
Scots.
Heading homeward, we traverse the heart of the Lomond Hills,
descending to Loch Leven and on to Edinburgh.
Duration: 8 hours (starting in Edinburgh)
